Creating a Calming, Trustworthy Visual Identity

For this project, we chose a light, welcoming design built around a soft green and warm brown colour palette. Colour plays a major role in shaping how visitors feel when they arrive on a website. The green we chose communicates calmness, growth, healing and stability. Paired with subtle brown accents, the overall look feels warm, approachable, and personal—more like meeting with a trusted friend than entering a corporate office. This colour combination helped set Rebuild and Relate Counselling apart while reinforcing a sense of safety and trust.

Writing Content That Reflects Faith and Purpose

Before any design work began, we focused on developing strong, meaningful website content. Content is often the most challenging part of a website for business owners. Many are busy, unsure how to express their message clearly, or uncomfortable writing about themselves. Through our interview process, we worked closely with Jamie to understand his faith, his counselling approach, his heart for helping others and his desire to point people toward Christ. We then structured the content to communicate his mission clearly while guiding visitors naturally through the site. The result is messaging that feels genuine, reassuring, and aligned with his Christian values—while also supporting SEO and usability.

A Website That Builds Connection and Encourages Action

Once all the elements were in place, it was time to bring everything together. Visitors are first introduced to Jamie in a personal, approachable way. This immediately builds connection and helps clients feel seen and understood—rather than treated like just another appointment. From there, the website flows naturally from section to section, presenting information in short, easy-to-read segments. This keeps visitors engaged, answers common questions, and gently encourages them to book a session. The goal is simple: help people feel comfortable enough to take the next step.
